Ramadan 1st Ashra Dua 2nd Ashra Dua-&-3rd Ashra Dua
During Ramadan, Muslims observe three ten-day periods called “ashras.” Each ashra has its own focus and associated dua (supplication). Here are the duas for each of the three ashras of Ramadan:
First Ashra (Days 1-10)
Theme: Mercy (Rahmah)
Dua: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِيْ
Transliteration: Allahumma irhamni.
Translation: “O Allah, have mercy on me.”
Second Ashra (Days 11-20) Ramadan 1st Ashra Dua 2nd Ashra Dua-&-3rd Ashra Dua
Theme: Forgiveness (Maghfirah)
Dua: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ ذُنُوْبِيْ
Transliteration: Allahumma ighfir li dhunoobi.
Translation: “O Allah, forgive me my sins.”
2nd Ashra Dua or ‘Dusre Ashra ki Dua’ is self-explanatory as we are asking for Allah’s forgiveness though this Supplication.
Third Ashra (Days 21-30)
Theme: Salvation from the Fire (Najat min an-Nar)
Dua: اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni min an-nar.
Translation: “O Allah, save me from the Fire.”
